ANNUAL MARCH FISHING

COMPETITION in 2009....

THE DATES HAVE BEEN SET

FOR 7TH-14TH MARCH, 2009!

Since 1979 our club has run a Fishing Competition in March. This Competition has grown to where it is now worth $22,000 in prizes and draws anglers from all across Australia.

The 2009 competition will run from 7th March to the 14th March.

You may enter on March 6th or on any day of the competition at the E.A.F.C Clubhouse between 7am to 7pm. Friday 6th at 5.30pm there will a briefing for all anglers with a free sausage sizzle. Competition begins Saturday morning at 6am and ceases at 12 noon on Saturday 14th March. Fish may be weighed in 2 hours after entering the competition. All entry receipts are required at time of weigh in and at the presentations. A free BBQ is supplied for all anglers on Saturday 14th prior to the presentations at the Clubhouse

There are 4 sections in which you may enter.

OPEN SECTION - anyone may enter this section. Major prize for entering is a BOAT, TRAILER AND MOTOR PACKAGE.
COST = $30.00 24 species are targeted with the top weight for each species receiving a $300 prize

LADIES SECTION  - lucky draw prizes in every section
COST = $20.00 14 species are targeted with the top weight for each species receiving a $150 prize

BOYS AND GIRLS SECTIONS - for children under 16 years of age. COST = $5.00 14 species
