The 2010 competition will run from 6th March to the 13th March, 2010.

Since 1979 the Eden Amateur Fishing Club Inc has conducted a fishing competition in March commencing
on the first Saturday of the month.

This competition has grown to where it is now worth $22,000 in prizes and draws
competitiors from across Australia.

You may enter on March 5th or on any day of the comp at the EAFC clubhouse, Quarantine Bay
between 7am and 7pm. Friday 5th there will be a briefing for all anglers commencing at 5.30pm
- a free BBQ will be supplied.
Competition commences at 6am on Saturday 6th March and ceases at 12 noon on Saturday 13th March.
Fish may be weighed in 3 hours after entering the competition.
There is a free BBQ supplied prior to the presentations.
The competition is divided into 4 sections:
OPEN - anyone may enter- entry fee $30. Major prize is a boat, trailer and motor package.
24 species are targetted with the top weight for each species receiving a $300 prize.
Last year there were 3 mystery fish that received a bonus $100 extra in prize money!!

LADIES - only ladies may enter - entry fee $20. 15 species are targetted with the top weight in each
species receiving a prize of $150. Bonus mystery prizes with a bonus $50 in prize money!

BOYS and GIRLS SECTIONS - for children under 16 years of age - entry fee $5. 14 species targetted.
All winners receive a trophy and a $50 voucher to be spent at Eden Outdoors and Marine.
